Young spanish designer Jorge Martí (25) presented his tesis project called Toyota MOB as an electric roadster just drawn by only two lines. He was inspired by the ‘Möbius stripe’.

The two seats ultra light vehicle is 3.64 meters long by 1.79 wide and only 1.06 height. Its compact dimmensions suggest a brilliant handling, and so the author renders those features in some racing ambiented images.

Jorge Martí is another one of the young talented designers from the 2009 Transportation Design Master of the Polytechnical University of Valencia.

Thirteen projects celebrate the famous British Car Label thinking of the car for 2025

A brand, Aston Martin, that is synonymous of elegance and sporting style. A team of young car designers. A brief looking head towards the near future. These are the ingredients of the project which has seen the involvement of the III year students of the IED Turin Three year post – diploma Transportation Design – car design course (a.y. 2008-2009).

A few weeks before the ‘09 Show open its doors, it’s time to take a look to the last year projects and their authors. The students from the Transportation Design Master of the Polytechnical University of Valencia (Spain) traditionally have been considered among the most qualified Spanish students from the professional point of view. Under the direction of Antonio Garrido, one of the most prestigious theoreticians on Design, the future designers give the shape to their concepts, considering all the rigors of the process of industrialization.

An outstanding trademark and an exciting theme: this year the III year students of the  Three Year post-high school Transportation Design – car design Course (a. y. 2007-2008) of the Istituto Europeo di Design of Turin were faced with a new challenge launched by BMW, whose philosophy, always aiming at combining aesthetics research for innovative designs with the best technologies, impresses people all over the world.

Designing the BMW of 2015, interpreting the language evolution and the trademark essence, in view of the company’s future perspectives: this was the thesis objective involving students, for the first phase of the project, in the research of a product and a style projected towards the future, for their subsequent application to actual scenarios of a close tomorrow.
